The Visible Past Project

My colleague Sorin Matei has undertaken a very interesting project... with the assistance of others he is focusing his energies on recreating historical events and/or places with something he calls the "visible past project." Combining an interest in geospatial concepts, existing online resources like "Google Earth" and the CAVE in Purdue's Envision Center he is really contributing in a unique way to the development of online geospatial environments and the notion of gwikis...
